KIERON TYLER author, journalist, music historian
Kieron Tyler has contributed to Britain’s MOJO magazine since 1999. He is the author of Smashing It Up: A Decade of Chaos With The Damned, the critically acclaimed biography of seminal British punk band The Damned.
His writing has also appeared in Q, The Guardian, The Independent, i (the newspaper), France’s Les Inrockuptibles, Finland’s Rumba, Music Week and Billboard. He also writes for The Arts Desk, the UK's first professional critical website .
He consults for major and independent labels on catalogue reissues. His own imprint RPM International is dedicated to non-UK, non-American music. In the field of music PR, campaigns worked on include a-ha, Tuulikki Bartosik, The Courettes, Lou Doillon, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Morten Harket, Mari Kalkun, Lykke Li, Alina Orlova, Wardruna and Hindi Zahra.
